June 11-19, 2010: Honduras Medical Trip

Team Leaders: Robert and Fonda Cassidy
Ministry Opportunity: Participate in 5 day-long clinics in various villages in Honduras. Clinics will be held in local UB churches.
Team Size: 14-16 Adults Special Skills: Nurses, Doctors, Physical Therapists, EMTs, Physician Assistants plus support personnel to work as assistants in pharmacy.
Cost of the Trip: $1,600/person
July 31 - August 14, 2010: English Day Camp in Germany

Team Leaders: JR and Cathy Reich
Ministry Opportunity: Participate in two five-day English Camps for German students. Team will use conversational English as a means of building relationships and sharing their personal faith. Team will be working with staff persons Galen and Maritta Fiedler.
Team Size: 10-12 Teens and Adults
Cost of the Trip: $1,800/person
July 8 - August 1, 2010: China Teacher Training Trip
Team Leader: Dr. Luke Fetters
Ministry Opportunity: First week is devoted to North American Professionals teaching instructional methodology to Chinese teachers of English. Second two weeks are English Day Camps involving Chinese English Teachers and Chinese primary and middle school students.
Team Size:
First Week: 8-10 Teaching Professionals
Second Week: 12-15 Adults - College age and above - to conduct English Camp activities i.e. music, conversational English, photography, puppetry, etc.
Cost of the Trip: $2,500/person
General Information for Global Ministries Mission Trips
As is the policy of Global Ministries, cost for these trips include the following items:
- pre-field training weekend
- airfares
- in-country travel
- lodging and most food
- supplemental health/travel insurance
- some ministry expenses.
Not covered in the cost would be:
- food to and from ministry destination
- obtaining passports
- getting into some museums and special interest sites
- any personal expenses incurred during the trip.
The cost of the trip also does not include any vaccinations/innoculations. Information about innoculations needed for specific countries can be found at the Center for Disease Control website.
All team members are required to fill out a Short-Term Ministry Application Form which can be obtained upon request by emailing or calling the Global Ministries office 888-622-3019. Completed application forms with all information as well as a recent photograph of the applicant should be returned to Global Ministries no later than 12 weeks prior to the departure of any trip.
