Global Ministries Partnership with CH Global in Haiti
Every day 28,000 children die needlessly in developing countries. Millions of children, particularly children with exceptional needs, face hunger, abandonment and marginalization in countries around the world. Through its partnership with CH Global, Global Ministries aims to reach thousands of children in Haiti by providing support, education and training programs. This unique agreement allows Canadian and US donors to supply the resources so our Haitian United Brethren members can minister the love of Christ in their communities. By building the capacity of the local community, a sustainable future is achieved.
Those with exceptional needs are defined as:
- Persons with developmental, intellectual or physical disabilities
- Children at risk (those who have been orphaned, abandoned, or affected by poverty, war or illness)
- Children affected by HIV/AIDS
- Marginalized communities who support persons with exceptional needs including caregivers, impoverished women, single parents and other caregivers
For just $31 per month, a child with exceptional needs or a child at risk will receive care from early intervention through to young adulthood. CH Global will send you a photo with detailed information about your sponsored child, and an annual update on your child’s welfare and achievements.
If you would like to know more about our partnership with CH Global, contact us or visit the CH Global website at www.chglobal.org.
Support a child – and you can change a community.

Delmas Church and Conference Center
Work is continuing on the development of a local church and national conference center in Delmas, Haiti. The property, located on the outskirts of Port-au-Prince was purchased by the Haitian church. The building is being constructed through the efforts of church members and local contractors using gifts from Canada and the United States. While the project continues, the local church is seeing attendance increase and baptisms are taking place. However, the temporary structure that is being used has been knocked down by the wind on a few occasions.
Through our Self-Denial Offerings we recently contributed $8,000. However, an additional push is needed to complete the building before the rainy season comes. Pastor Oliam Richard has been under pressure by the municipality to complete the project. Any assistance toward the total amount needed would be appreciated.
Additional funds needed: $10,000 US Dollars
