Fulltime UB Missionaries
Fulltime UB missionaries are employees of the
UB Global Ministries Leadership Team. They may serve on UB fields
or be on loan to other mission organizations. Here are the current
fulltime UB missionaries.
Macau
We have two churches in Macau, both of which emerged from contacts
made through the English Language Program, a school which
teaches English as a second language.
- Jana
Hoobler has been serving in Macau since 1992.
- Jennifer
Blandin joined the Macau team in 1996.
- David
and Melissa
Kline went to Macau in the spring of 2004. Melissa
previously served most of one term in Macau before she and David
were married in March 2003. They then returned to Macau as a couple.
- Carlson and Naomi Becker arrived in Macau in September 2005 and will remain for three years.
India
A United Brethren worker in India is
involved with a multi-faceted ministry which has included medical
work, a leprosy hospital, a Christian middle school, an extensive
Bible correspondence program, and a church planting ministry which
now
includes about 15 churches and a number of preaching points.
Sierra Leone
As a result of a major leadership development initiative with Sierra Leone Conference, two couples have responded to God's call.
- Billy and Mamei Simbo Billy arrived in Sierra Leone at the end of April 2007. He will lead the conference through a transition time for the next three years.
- Randy and Toni Fennig will head to Sierra Leone in January 2008. Randy will teach at the Evangelical College of Theology near Freetown.
Honduras
Abby Waterbury went to Honduras in July of 2007 as a UB Global Ministries missionary working in partnership with World Gospel Outreach. She will be serving as a second grade teacher at a ranch for orphaned children.
