Endorsed Missionaries are persons who
serve with non-UB mission organizations, but are free to raise
support in UB churches. To receive this status, missionaries must
be approved by the Global Ministries Leadership
Team.
Here are the persons currently serving as endorsed missionaries.
Ron and Brenda Anderson do
church planting work in Spain with European Christian Mission
International.
Wes and Jean Bell do educational work with WBT in Brazil.
Brian and Cathy Birdsall are
missionaries in Kiev, Ukraine, serving with Campus Crusade for Christ. Brian is the National Director for CCC ministries in Ukraine.
Neal and Carol Brinneman are with JAARS in North Carolina.
Fraser and Sherry Churchill serve with Operation Mobilization in the Canadian Head Office as Director of Development and Hospitality Coordinator.
Dave and Cathie Datema serve
with the US Center for World Mission in Pasadena, Calif., an
organization which focuses on unreached people groups.
Arek and Donna Delik are
serving in Poland with Operation
Mobilization. Donna is a UB from Hong Kong.
Abigail Farmer served as an art teacher at the Ukarumpa International School in Papua, New Guinea. She will be at the Wycliffe Center in Dallas during 2008.
Ryan & Laura Fennell will be serving with New Tribes Mission in Papua New Guinea after their pre-field training.
Owen and Frances Gordon are
with Jamaica Bible College in Jamaica. Owen is the president.
Troy and Julie Hendricks are
currently in the US on home-service from serving in Spain with SEND International.
Bridget Ho, from Hong Kong, has been on a series of short-term assignments through Hong Kong Conference--Sri Lanka, Tibet, Myanmar, and is currently studying at All Nations Christian College in the UK in preparation for long term mission service.
Jessica Hovis serves in Hawaii as part of the Youth With a Mission office staff, working as accountant and in the hospitality department.
Ruth
Ann Price formerly served in Mexico and later in the Philippines.
She served a number of years as Management Training Coordinator
at the WBT headquarters in Dallas, Texas, and then in
Orlando, Fla., where she served in a VP role. She continues
to work with WBT, but also serves as Missionary
in Residence at Huntington University.
Roger and Marilyn Reeck do Bible translation among the Garifuna people in La Ceiba, Honduras. They are currently doing a lot of translation work in Ghana.
Joe & Natalie Reed serve with Nieu Communities in Pretoria, South Africa training for work in a variety of ministry settings.
Gordon and Judith Rohn live
in the Phoenix, Ariz., area, where Gordon serves on staff with Paraclete,
a mission organization focused on the Muslim world.
Roger and Mary Lou Skinner work
out of the OMS headquarters
in Greenwood, Ind. For many years, they were OMS missionaries
in Ecuador.
David
Spencer, with his wife Becky, returned to Cuiaba, Brazil, in 2005 as Scripture Use Coordinator and Director's Assistant for Personnel, respectively.
Teddy and Helen (not their real names) went to Burma in 1998 to start a new mission field as an outreach of Hong Kong Conference. They are using an English Language Program similar to the one used in Macau as a way to make contacts. Teddy is from Myanmar (formerly known as Burma), and Helen is from Hong Kong.
Abby Waterbury went to Honduras in July of 2007 as a UB Global Ministries missionary working in partnership with World Gospel Outreach. She serves as a second grade teacher at a ranch for orphaned children.
Doug and Ruth Weber and
family serve with HCJB radio in Ecuador.
