OM Poland –Church planting project (Kutno)
Background
Teach English & share your faith at the same time! Opportunities to be involved in teaching in the language school of the church plant in Kutno. We discovered that teaching English can be a very useful tool for relationship building and sharing our faith with the Polish people. Let’s grasp this opportunity as we don’t know how much longer we can still reach out to the Poles through English teaching. We have plenty of students of different age groups, yet not enough teachers.
Requirement
- Teaching qualification preferred but not compulsory.
- Have you been speaking English longer than 10 years?
- Do you speak English without having to think too much about it?
- Do you enjoy the ability to open your mouth and communicate in English?
- Do you watch TV, listen to music and read books in English without much problem?
- Willingness to learn Polish, to live and serve in Poland.
Flexibility in working with the Polish church.
Possible Ministry involvements
- Teaching in the English school (conversation class with the youth & adult)
Sat. children English club
- Youth ministry -there is a great need for youth work in this town
- Friendship evangelism
- Local church ministry
- Church visits in Poland to present OM's ministry, ask people to pray and
mobilize young Poles to serve.
Period
As long as possible!
We are looking for English speaking individuals to come and make themselves available for the Lord. You can be a tremendous assistant in our church planting efforts.

- Short term (Global Challenge summer campaign)
- Medium term (1-2 year Global Action mission training programme)
- Long term (2 years or longer)

OM Poland - Youth and Children's Ministry (Kutno)
Background
Even though Poland is a predominantly Roman Catholic country, Christianity means little to most of the young people there. Catholicism is just part of the tradition of what it means to be Polish. Arek and Donna Delik, as they work in Kutno, want teens to see the relevancy of Christianity, and once they have found Christ, grow in their relationship with him. They are looking for individuals who are interested in:
- Working in our church plant in Kutno
- Reaching out to teens through teaching English and through the Saturday Youth English Club.
- Seeig teens develop a true friendship with Jesus
Requirements
- Excited to work with teenagers
- Want to make a difference in teenager's life
- Creative, able to work in a team, flexible
- Experienced in youth work
- Willing to learn Polish
- Willing to raise their own support
Commitment Length as long as possible!
