Germany

A new mission field was officially established in the fall of 2006. This is not a mission field of Global Ministries, but rather Sierra Leone Conference. In the midst of the civil war through the 1990’s in Sierra Leone, people fled to many parts of the world. One of those places was Berlin, Germany. Ten years ago, likeminded people came together to form a United Brethren Church. Last fall, at the Sierra Leone National Conference meetings, this congregation applied to be an official extension of the work of the SL UB conference. That was approved, and a new mission field was born. The pastor, Peter Mansaray, a former Catholic priest, leads the congregation.
