Jeff Bleijerveld

Previous to his appointment as Director of Global Ministries, Jeff Bleijerveld served for 24 years as a pastor, missionary and mission administrator. As the Director of Global Ministries, Jeff oversees the international efforts of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ. This includes recruiting and sending of North American workers for both short and long-term assignments, collaboration with national leadership and encouraging local churches in maintaining a global perspective on their mission as the Church. Donna Hollopeter

Donna serves as the associate director of Global Ministries, and is also in charge of the Women's Missionary Fellowship. She joined the missions staff in January 1994. Her position includes a variety of responsibilities such as promotion for missionaries and national conferences as she speaks in local churches and WMF regional meetings. She also works with missionary care and work teams. Donna's husband, Jason, is pastor of the UB church in Corunna, Ind., and they live in Auburn, Ind. Email:

Darlene Burkett

Darlene joined the Global Ministries staff in November 2003, and now serves as administrative assistant to Jeff Bleijerveld and Donna Hollopeter. She is responsible for the Beautiful Family program, resources available on loan from Global Ministries, and promotional materials for such things as Self-Denial and Thank Offering. Darlene and her husbad, Phil, were one of the founding couples of our work in Macau (along with Luke and Audrey Fetters). The Burketts attend College Park UB church in Huntington, Ind., where Phil is Minister of Music and Missions. Email:
